DACA Renewal Scholarships

Introduction

At this time, USCIS is only accepting DACA applications for renewals from individuals who currently have DACA status. New DACA applications are not being processed.

If you are a current DACA recipient, renewing your status on time is essential to avoid any gaps in your work authorization or protections. The renewal fee is $555 if filed online or $605 if filed on paper, which can be a financial burden for many.

Fortunately, there are community-based organizations in Illinois that offer financial assistance to help cover the DACA renewal fee for those who qualify. Each organization has its own application process, eligibility criteria, and deadlines.
